SKUGrab can read a store's public product response or available data embedded in its page. A SKU is included only when the store exposes it; theme differences and incomplete responses can limit the export.
| Field | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Product identity | Product handle, title and storefront URL. |
| Description | Available public product description, converted to text. |
| Options and variants | Public variant IDs and option values, such as size and color, when available. |
| Variant SKU | The SKU exposed for each variant. Empty or unavailable SKUs remain empty. |
| Prices and currency | Available per-variant prices and explicit storefront currency. A single product price may be unknown if no selection is confirmed. |
| Image URLs | Available public product image links, saved as URLs. |
The example store publishes a SKU for M / Blue and leaves L / Blue without one. Per-variant prices can be present while the product price remains unknown if the current variant cannot be confirmed.

Use the extension popup to grant optional access to that specific origin. The toolbar can then appear automatically on enabled, supported pages. Other store domains require separate permission.
Choose More → Preview variants to review public SKUs and options. Use Collect product or Export JSON for the current product, or Batch selection for selected loaded cards. Check completeness before reuse.
For example, authorize shop.example, collect its public linen-shirt product and review its published options. A second store needs its own permission.
Compare the public variant ID, size, color and exposed SKU before importing data into your own workflow. Mark blank SKUs for review rather than inventing codes or treating them as inventory records.
Use SKUGrab for selected publicly accessible product pages. If your own store needs unpublished products or private inventory fields, use an authorized Shopify admin export; this storefront collector cannot retrieve those fields.
The current export formats are JSON and ZIP. Review completeness notes before using the data.
A single product downloads as a product-named JSON file with its available fields and variants.
product-name.jsonA batch downloads as one ZIP, with a separate JSON file for each product. Each product in the archive counts as one export.
SKUGrab_YYYYMMDD_HHmmss.zipImage fields contain image URLs, not downloaded image files. CSV and Excel exports are coming soon; the current preview exports JSON and ZIP.
The free allowance is 20 products per day in the current browser, resetting at 00:00 UTC. Product data is processed locally and downloaded to your device.
Store approval is pending, and live marketplace validation is still in progress. Official installation links will appear in the guide after approval. This website does not provide an offline installation package.
Yes, when the public storefront response or page data exposes those SKUs. SKUGrab does not create missing SKUs or use an admin API to obtain private fields.
Shopify stores can use custom domains. Optional site permission lets you authorize the specific store you choose in the extension popup. You can revoke that permission through your browser's extension settings.
SKUGrab collects selected public storefront products under the permission you grant that store. It does not sign in to the admin or obtain unpublished products, private inventory data, orders or customers. Use your authorized admin tools when your task needs those fields.
No compatibility guarantee covers every theme. Public product data may be unavailable, page structure may be unrecognized, or variants may be partial. Review completeness notes and report a public product URL to support if a page fails.
